have you read The Bloody Chamber and other stories… the titular story is one I think about like all the time but I haven’t really touched her novels. I may start with not this one
i have not but i want to! id love to discuss this one because maybe someone else sees something i don't. i just can't think of anything that could possibly only be conveyed by so many racist tropes written by a white woman. prose when it isnt being degrading is unbelievable though
