Getting sucked back into this. Every time I leave and come back I’m shook by how fucking good it is! Abercrombie is a master of tension and pacing; they’re both BREAKNECK, but not overwhelming.

Vigga's POV parts are so hard to read--they're so well-written and heartbreaking. Her internal flashbacks that happen in the middle of the present action are jarring in that they flow a little too well into the scene and when you realize she's in her head, it hurts
