My sixth and final DW book for this year has begun. Probably the smoothest in terms of its plot balance and stuff, and I’m having a lot of fun with that for sure.
Got through the first little section of what feels like the second “movement” of the story (so to speak) on top of the whole start, and I can’t wait to continue. Definitely a palette cleanser after basically binging Lord of the Rings this month.

Splendid climax and conclusion. Some really peak little snippets sprinkled in there that rise above anything else in the series thus far. All in all, definitely the strongest from a technical and execution perspective.

Read a LOT this morning, damn. And boy has it been fun. Lots of moving pieces through the book, got to see some entertaining escapades from a couple different major perspectives now weaving together in a collective whole that I’m really eager to see in full 🙌🏻

Nanny Ogg captive, Granny and Magrat on separate wavelengths about saving her; shit is getting real, er, captivating and, well, fun!
