Oh man even with Elena telling you what she felt at the time I think this scene hits different if your were in the system. In fact it could count as a trigger for some fosterkids which is wild to think about.

Elena is such a shithead. She is the epitome of: 'Oh no, the consequences of my actions...'

But sure, blame Jeremy 😬

Again, the only story with cheating in it I can enjoy despite that happening. I still think that is very strange of me, normally it is one of my squicks. But it fits the storyline and character development.

<spoiler>I do like it when they discover that the mutts are human killers and not culturally werewolves therefore missing all the skills they would otherwise have learned.

It really ties into Elena's acceptance that she is and what that means to her. The good and the bad</spoiler>

Oh my fokking god, Clay would be called autistic today!

This shows the conversation I had with my sibling in a different light.

Damn. Ok.

Wait, he wanted to test sex between two werewolves but went for biting women? 🤣 when people talk about heteronormativity this is what they mean. I would have tested it out with the known werewolves men! But then he would have to have a control group of human men🤔

I have already packed this book 😭. I have this book in all formats but seeing the rest of the series on my shelves waiting to be boxed up but not the first one...

This is a very annoying scratch to have in my brain.

Uhm what's wrong with Wyoming? I have zero knowledge about the different states. Is that the one with the mountains? But an American state is pretty big right? Are there no big cities there?

Hehe spuit elf. Dat is serieus geen nieuws. Iedereen weet dat hij de reden was. *Zucht*

Hey! I resent that comparison! Hyena's are fascinating and they get a bad rep (no thanks to you Disney).

Hahaha I just realized that this book is sorta dated. I was thinking why wouldn't she call from her (smart)phones? Right, logical for her because of the whole losing your clothes on the daily thing. But why would Philip's be in his suitcase? Instead of you know, his pocket. But that was a thing back then. First the landline and if you were lucky then your mobile.
