I have never been happier to see 1st person narration! Dennis Guilder's POV, you have been sorely missed! I was wondering why I wasn't vibing as much with Part 2 despite all the drama/conflict and it's taken me way too long to realise (despite typically preferring 3rd person narration) it's because of how much I enjoyed being in Dennis' head in Part 1. Unfortunately, the 3rd person slowed things down in the middle.

Baring in mind what this story is famously known for, I'm genuinely surprised that the first time That happened was so deep into the book (a little under halfway). However, I definitely haven't been bored at any point and have been thoroughly entertained by the development of Arnie's obsession and the impact it has had on his life (especially in regards to his relationships with his parents, Dennis & Leigh).
