It’s so funny to me now how the kids think everything is cringe and I’m just like, this is normal and totally reasonable! haha

The thing I love about these books is that they are written with such loving descriptions of the world/landscape/culture of the characters. You can feel the appreciation for things and places that others would disregard and that makes it so beautiful!
