Still delightful, and taking on epic proportions. I think the multiple plotlines are necessary for intrigue, considering the obvious villain died about 20 pages in, before the story actually began. So the conflict has to arise from natural circumstances. An interesting route; let's see if it holds up.

We've made it to Cornwall *hearteyes*, with a new mystery plot! Well, not "new" so much as fleshing out the circumstances from which the obvious villain died 300 pages ago, haha. The romance is very restrained - 300 pages in and the H/h haven't even kissed yet - and that is wearing my patience just a little. I'm not sure how it will wrap up satisfyingly with only 120 pages to go...

Utterly delightful so far! The beginning was a bit abrupt, and there is a huge cast of characters to keep up with, not to mention all these dangling plotlines, but now that I'm in the meat of the story I'm utterly charmed. Plus there is the promise of Cornwall in the future, and as we all know, Cornwall is my jam, LOL!
