Amazed that Harry is ok with all this. I'm liking him and Clyde though. Also, just have to say that GA cannot write sex. I'm sorry. Yes, she's gotten much better but 'his c*ck was running with precum' makes me think of an STD. 'Clyde went into an orgasm soon after.' Huh?? No, gracias. Still, it's hot because of Harry.

When Clyde got rough with Jean at the end and he had to safe-word, Harry just smiled and then pecked Clyde on the lips as he walked out. Wahh? He's body slammed him for less. Then, all three (four) proceed to have sex...uh ok. Harry made a big deal about staking his claim re Jean, laying down the law that there would be no more threesomes, but when Jean asked him if it was just going to be the two of them from now on (sans Clyde) he couldn't answer. Huh? I guess it was supposed to show some lingering feelings on Harry's part, but that doesn't jive with his thoughts throughout the book that he didn't love Clyde in the all consuming way that Clyde loved him. He just had sex with him 'to control him??' Really?? I wanted to jump kick Harry in the throat! Ungrateful bastid. Now, YES, I know what you're going to say. Clyde was manipulative. Yes, he was. Yes, he used fear and the whole failed first relationship to keep Harry close to him, but it was clear that he was broken and hurt too and thought only Harry could love him. I understand where she wanted to go with the characters, but I think the internal dialogue didn't match the outcome. The only way she can really fix this, imo, is to write a Clyde/Sam or Clyde/OC with some lingering jealousy on Harry's part and then have the brothers really resolve their issues.
Hey, but at least she didn't go with some hokey, corny ending so there's that.
Book 2 and 3 does not resolve any of that.
I do think Harry treated Clyde wrong throughout the book. I felt sorry for Clyde because you could tell how deeply he felt for Harry. The whole situation could have been treated differently. Sam got slighted too.
Ugh, 2 and 3?? Names, pls. Why do I do this to myself? Porque??? Sam, I didn't know what the deal was with him. He seemed to be fine with the just the physical. Though, considering he and Clyde kind of paired off at the end, I wouldn't mind reading their story.
:) Sam's story is The Last Hard Man. It has lingering effects of what happened with Clyde, Harry and Jean but it's not a big part. It shows him trying to deal with it and then he ends up with some twins. Not on Amazon. The third is called Taking Ryan. I don't even know if it can be called a 3rd. Ryan is a little obsessed with Sam but he ends up with a totally different person. GAs booms interconnect. It has a great cover. I can't really recommend that one. It was OK. It really should be two stars but I think I gave it one extra for the cover. lol

Exactly, Ryan is a new 18'year old that hitchhikes from Nebraska or somewhere, he sees Sam at the tattoo place and falls for him. They have a brief encounter. That's why I probably shouldn't call it the 3rd since it doesn't really focus on Sam. You are right, I didn't think about the fact that she left out Clyde.
The more I think about it, the more I need to take Taking Ryan to 2 stars because doesn't make sense. lol
