Cayden (our MC) is a piece of garbage and I hope he dies before this book is over. I cannot imagine reading the next book if this is how he is going to solve his problems.

And I rooted for Jorg, Mr "I killed them from youngest child to oldest woman, and when I was done I blunted three axes dismembering their corpses. I am Jorg of Ancrath--I burned ten thousand in Gelleth and didn't think it too many."

That may be the dumbest logic I have ever heard.

Well this is an overly stupid subplot.

Wait wait wait... so if you die, you actually properly die? Like real death?

Some of the decisions I've seen so far are suddenly much much stupider than I was giving them credit for.
