Having only read the Preface and Introduction, I'm very intrigued by the way in which this analysis of Misogny and its subsequent manifestations is to be conducted. While academic, to be sure, I find a lot of trepidation at each step in a way that is,in my opinion, a little too heavy-handed. Given the nature of the topic, it's understandable, but I do hope the analysis is more flowing and less stuttering with caution

Having finished the first chapter, I'm pleased to see the smooth progression of the book insofar as it explains the deeper nature of Misogyny and its expansive subtleties and variation. Manne lays out the foundation for how we examine and explain Misogyny, but does so in a way as if to advance a particular ideology. True to philosophic form, she takes a methodical approach in analyzing the phenomenon macroscopicallly
