This book is so much better the second time through (except that a certain character keeps making me cry, which is rude, esp. when I didn't cry the first time). I only have 50 pages left, but I also have to go to sleep, and the gods of literature and love are all laughing at me right now.

I hated Zara the first time through. I hate her even more on the second read and I don't even know how big of a horror she becomes later. I do hope someone drops her off a cliff.

Freaking. Cassandra. Clare. I have screamed so many times in this book, from unholy excitement to frustration to absolute agony. I love this book. I love Julian nearly as much as I love Will. I ship ALL the ships (yes, even THAT one), which is something only two authors have EVER managed, and it's agony. AGONY, I tell you!

Clary, OW. Why do you insist on stomping on my emotions??
