I'm sorry...Kyle?? We get such character names as Stoop, Trench, Stalker, Skinner, and...Kyle. Mmkay. Maybe there's a reason he doesn't get a cool nickname, and I just haven't gotten there yet.

Almost 400 pages in, and I still can't get over a guy in a high fantasy novel named KYLE. I've begun pronouncing his name "Keel" in protest, but my Vine-addled mind keeps waiting for someone to say, "What the FUCK is up, Kyle? What the FUCK is up?"
