Another of this author's jabs towards people that aren't cishet nationalist fitness obsessives. For someone who's likely never seen military time in his life, there are a lot of pretty funky, fucky ideas jumping out. Either a sign that he's a nutjob and is injecting his own ideas into the texts or that he's a brilliant writer able to so thoroughly adopt the perspective of a fucked up civilization (yeah right).
