Asha can go choke on a bag of dicks. If Rook weren't so self-loathing, she could explain the Ryker situation. I love Rook having purpose and helping read the books. I love her fighting for Mina. Adriel is...lukewarm. Not really feeling the hot steam from these two. I mean, Rook seems to like him but he doesn't seem all that compelling to me. I hope Ryker gets his throat torn out. Redemption be damned.

Please, please, please! Adriel be good! I see it now! The chemistry! This'll hurt so badly if he is actually evil! I'm hoping Gordon goes a traditional route and either Ryker is the truly evil one or both guys are good and love her. The roundup of the Hounds was great. The bonding with Adriel and Rook was blissful relief. Now this. What the fuck do you want, Ryker? You screwing everything up, man!

Great! Jumping right in where we left off! I love Rook so much. Even this angst and hopeless infatuation with Ryker feels earned. She's been through so much. I don't know if she can settle down in Mina. She feels too restless, too bold for domesticity. Yet I don't know if she'll leave and go be a hero unless...something happens to the free city. Adriel feels like a forced love interest, tbh, so far.
