More than anything, I just feel very sad on behalf of the creation. So far, he seems harmless and Frankenstein is treating him like a pariah. You wanted to reanimate a man from death, now here he is! You were convinced you could do it and you have! Why turn your back to him now and flee in terror?

Everything Shelley writes is pure poetry. There's such a foreboding gloom dripping from each and every word. It's delicious.

The introductory letters are gripping and the writing is beautiful. The atmosphere is so dark and gloomy so far, I love it!
