Despite all the trials, tribulations I left the hospital behind 3 weeks ago and since the last hip/pelvis operation have been able to complete this wonderful book. It was very interesting to read the personal thoughts of an Emperor of Rome and his stoic philosophy towards his own behaviour. The was one of 5 best emperors of Rome, in that he ruled for the benefit of the people first I’d he could and then for the state. The state was equally important as the people. An excellent book that all of us today could take many things away for our own improvement!!!!
