I'm feeling refreshed just working through this book! I found the "Where you should be?" chapter to be a great "taking stock" checklist. Spoiler alert: my inventory suggests I'm in a good work space. It helped me focus on what I have in my professional life.

The first set of exercises had me groaning inwardly, but once I matched up my important values with the jobs I had, it became obvious why I still mostly like my current job despite issues, why I loved another job and why three previous jobs (outside of Alaska!) didn't do anything for me at all. So I think the author is on to something and I'll give her a chance. NOTE: This is aimed squarely at library workers.
