Honestly I equal parts hate and like this book. I hate the irritating miscommunication. I hate his cruelty and her stupidity. I hate the blaise manner in which he's asked her to marry him and how idiotic she has to be to say yes. I hate everything. But I like the grovelling a lot and it's so annoying that I like it because i should hate this book but i can't. It's like a guilty pleasure and I'm annoyed

Did he just fucking say that? Tell me he didn't just say one of these days she'd push someone far enough to be raped. TELL ME HE DIDN'T SAY THAT. WHAT AN ASSHOLE.

He is so weird and makes NO sense

Ugh this Matt Strange guy is even worse than Damien

I'm already creeped out by this guy. I'm trying to keep in mind that this is a romance book but it isn't helping. He's really pushy and he's making me very uncomfortable. He's blackmailed and kidnapped her and is now getting her drunk. AND SHE'S ONLY 18. This isn't good at all..
