I am back to the book, I restarted it again, and this time, finally, it seems to have pulled me in, and I am liking it, but how many Murakami's do we ignore from our own shores because they don't come preapproved from some far away shore? I know a few personally. It makes me sad.

I'm pausing for a while. It just isn't grabbing me.

I have a feeling this is going to suffer through its massive reputation. So far I am feeling pretty ambivalent.
