I'm DNFing this. I don't know who these people are, I haven't a clue what is going on. I just don't care about it at all.
Probably the narrator, who is really just a reader. I always have trouble remaining engaged when I can't tell who is speaking and I feel no differentiation between voices. I really need to start a "avoid these narrators" list.

I'm having a difficult time remaining engaged with this. I don't know who the characters are because they all sound exactly alike, and other than "imminent war" I haven't a clue what the story is about.
