A severe ending to our planetary adventure, one that leads to death for Dr. Vivaldi and myself. It's a good thing Captain Kirk and McCoy never encountered security bacteria this vicious or single-minded.

We went on this mission to get things done. I respect Dr. Vivaldi, but we can't turn back every time a space phenomena looms.

This isn't an Edward Packard highlight from his early Choose Your Own Adventure era, but it's an acceptable nightcap read.

Not a great final ending! It was better when Dr. Vivaldi and I ended up on a planet that seemed to be Earth in the future.

It's been a while since I fully read this book. I like this edition's cover by Paul Granger. Thumbs up!
