“You’re an arrogant son of a bitch who believes just because you say or think something that everyone else should as well.” Krell glanced at his split knuckles. “I admire that about you.” He pinned Zorus with a cool stare. “But then, I’m a bastard too. Follow protocol next time to avoid an asshole taking things into his own hands."

This made me chuckle.

“Congratulations on finally embracing the things we fought so hard to establish the right to have. You are more than what Earth created you to be. You have stopped being cold inside, released the hatred you lived by, and have discovered the ability to love.” He paused. “You are truly alive now.”

“Falling in love is never easy but here we are.”

He tensed and looked down at the top of her head. Charlie tilted her face to gaze at him.

“What? You think I’d agree to come to your planet, leave everything behind, just because the sex is awesome?” She smiled.

“Say it.”

“I love you, Zorus.”
