Wow that Brethren chapter is something else

Unfortunately Act 1 of this one has been something of a slog, but thankfully it’s propelling into the next section after feeling like we would never get there

Starting this book is similar to how Hadrian must have felt after waking up from fugue -- the situation is a bit hard to grasp as you orient yourself from a long time jump from where book 1 ended -- but now that they've met the painted man, it's felt like the fog has cleared and events have started up once again
