Felipe Arraño Frick is shot by Berkman at work (p. 201-202). Doctors removed the bullets fro Frick’s flesh (p. 203). Goldman and Berkman became lovers (p. 217). Berkman and Goldman’s collision with American history and the violence they brought with them were the consequence of importing Russian political hopes and methods to the US (p. 218). Homestead steel strike, industrial lockout July 1 1892 (p. 224). Berkman, Goldman and Feyda decided to write and distribute an Anarchist manifesto among the striking workers (p. 226). Frick was to be the ideal victim of the first US attentat (p. 227). Berkman narration of the attempt to murder Frick (p. 231-232). Berkman had planned to blow himself up with dynamite inside his mouth (p. 232). US people were incapable of understanding a murder on anything other than personal terms (p. 233). Most had repudiated the attempted assassination (p. 234).
