Dogs should not be given ibuprofen, even if your favourite fictional dykes have the vet recommend it. That said, the characters are flawless and unproblematic and I definitely approve of all their other actions. (Jk, but a concerning number of 2010s/2020s reviewers seem to want "representation" to mean "morality tales with exemplary heroines", and I wonder who'd actually find that humanising or relatable.)

Last time I read this, I went to a different university, had a different circle of friends and acquaintances, lived in a different country, and had no idea what the next five years would bring. DTWOF is like comfort food in book form. And today it feels /even more/ relatable, more personal, than it did back then.
