Finished the main story and am now reading the prequel novella included.
Main story ended pretty good, but I just wish the authors would keep certain characters dead, it makes the story feel more realistic and meaningful that way.

The final battle was pretty cool, and sad. Now we have the epilogue before the prequel novella included in the book.
And the epilogue's 20 pages long!?

Oh damn! Recadat can transform into a big creature too now.

We are getting closer to some sort of battle, I assume. Definitely not the final one, but maybe the start of it.

I am so glad Bee and Devi brought Recadat over from the Machine Mandate universe into this series. Her character development is so much better here.

And that sex scene! I've said it once, twice, and I'll say it again. Whether if it's m/f, f/f, m/m, or whatever, if the scene has some primarily to it, it's STEAMY!

So I was wrong. The Melusine isn't Elizaveta.

Also that sex scene between the Exegesis and the Cynosure was part edgy BDSM, part gore fest, and part eldritch sex.
