I wrote that would the witnesses help his case? Spoony is explaining how it got on the news and he says “I told you, lil bruh, there are always witnesses” (Reynolds 93). Im curious to see if these witnesses will help his case when it goes to trial or will the judge take the police officers words on what happened.

Adversity impacted the way people viewed Rashad completely. Suddenly people at school started talking about him. The lady who tripped over him viewed him differently: “‘I just wanted to say I’m sorry about everything that is happened, I mean that is happening.’ She blinked hard” (Reynolds 241). Maybe it’s out of putty but a lot of people are staring to view Rashad differently because of his adversity.

“You didn’t deserve this. Your not a criminal” (Reynolds 193). Rashads mom believes her son and is fighting for him even if at the beginning we weren’t sure.
