I’m reading this because I need a comfort read. There are bad things that happen in this book, but I love the comfort of spending time with the McKallister clan. I also really miss these original covers. I hate the way they’ve changed over the years. They’re so bland now. Yuck.

My detail oriented brain is trying to figure out how it says the original edition of this book was 611 pages, but now this newer edition (with the ugly, bland cover) says it only has 464 pages. So I’m flipping back and forth between the two editions and it’s mind boggling. 😵💫 Also, the incorrect phrase “all of the sudden” was never corrected for the new version. 🤬🤬🤬Ridiculous!

Doing a buddy read with my sister. Plus, I just noticed that Rogue Wave was released so I wanted a refresher of Keith’s character.

It’s been years since I’ve read any new M/F books. This was a rec from my niece. So far, I’m pleasantly surprised. Female MC isn’t a whiny girl. She’s mouthy and bold. The snark has been flowing so far. Let’s hope it continues.

Lately, I've been leaning more towards comfort reads. I'm going to have to take a closer look at this book/series. You have me intrigued.

oh man this one sounds good! i just read the blurb and it seems like it has some hurt/comfort? it’s weird but sometimes i look for books with bad things that happen to one of the characters because of the hurt/comfort or how one character gets reserved from that and the other kinda…brings them out? anyway, hope you enjoy this comfort read!

She’s smart and funny.

Jake went through a horrific trauma as a child and Casey really helps him through that. The characters in this series are a lot of fun. It’s in KU atm if you have that. (Though I know you’re enjoying Charlie and Travis rn. 🥰)
oh man i love that! i love that type of hurt/comfort - character with a sad last and the character who helps them, especially when the character hurting is so reserved and not used to love and care. it sounds sad but i love it. 😂 i am loving these two aussie boys but i’ll definitely be checking this out, especially since i do have KU! thanks for putting this on my radar! 💕

Book two was the only book in this series I didn’t really like. It’s about Jake’s brother Kyle, and he’s on a reality show. But my sister loved that book because she likes reality shows. So. You might like it. The characters in the series are great. I love the McKallister family. I hope you like it if/when you get to it. 😃 In the meantime, keep enjoying Charlie and Travis. 💕
