This one's a chore to get trough again, so much bile and vinegar and teenage rage/angst. From the adults too. *sigh*

500 pages in and the first truly interesting thing happens.

90 % of the HP fanfiction out there is better quality than this book.

So kids, what have we learned today? That Harry Potter is an even worse prat than his father was. Cos he's also a whiny, angsty prat, not just a pig-headed, reckless, selfish child.

Amazing the character assasination Rowling pulls on her own posterboy.

This would have been a MUCH better book without all the uncomfortable, awkward romance crap and the repetitive teenage angst. 500 pages in and I literally cannot wait for something or someone to start killing people, to end the tedium.

Oh, almost 200 pages of angsty, bitchy Harry... gruff and pissy eveyone else and constantly hysterical Molly Weasley. Small wonder I fell asleep three times today, listening to this.
