Not me hoping for Feyre’s death by 25% and the rest of the series spent between Tamlin and someone I can stand.

Idfk, y’all. For whatever reason, I reeeeally want this story to work for me but I’m struggling. For sure, part of the problem is the audio – I would be better off to let Feyre’s literal voice be the product of my imagination. I just realized this is the same narrator from another audiobook I read, and disliked, earlier this year so I doubt that is helping. I need to quit fiction ABs, but dammit.

Aw shit. I'm doing the AB too. I really want to get into this, and I do think my opinion of her will change, but right now her narrative is pretty hard to take. I want to punch her in the mouth. 😂
ohhhhhh..... I would like to cheer you on, BUT I remember liking her a lot more at the beginning than by the end of the trilogy (I only read until book3)... She's going to get a lot worse... but maybe your experience is different than mine 🤞🤞🤞
later on she was for me all about "nobody had it worse than me, so I deserve everything, all the love, and care, and power...." she was a tyrant! but maybe all Maas female character are. They are simply "not like any other girl" 🤣

I feel like the internal monologue is attempting to force tension that isn't actually there, especially about (view spoiler). So I'm hopeful that when the meat of the story/conflict gets going, that stupidity won't be leaned on anymore and her characterization can become more organic/realistic.
