The Gigantick Rolling Cheese Wheel is memorable and funny, but it's worth noting that the laughs are sandwiched between two heavy sections focused on grieving a lost spouse and the foolishness/courage of Love in the face of Reason, when logic compels us to accept the impossibility of 'moving on'

Have taken to using two bookmarks: one to mark my place and one to mark the place I hope to end up at, 55 pages ahead. Scale of 1 - 10, how dorky is it to feel a warm glow as the characters also split up to chart separate courses that meet up again later?
