Okay, her takes on "Casa da Música" are just so bad and I'm rolling my eyes, because the classicism and the lack of respect for new arts and new music frustrates me so much

Never thought it would happen, but kinda of freaky that this chapter literally mentions the place I live and the place I work at!! Also it's really interesting to read about Lisbon - I feel the description of the noises and smells has changed, but I think this book also sets the time where the change is happening to what the city is now!!

I know this is way more detailed and there’s historical context to the places she’s visiting, but at the same time this is oddly familiar bc it reminds me of the “trip diaries” my dad writes everytime we travel somewhere!!!
