The first few chapters made me question whether I would like this or not. There was a lot of repeated verbs/adverbs ("choked," for instance, when describing speaking), the descriptions of clothing and the characters looks felt really shallow, the "my family is dead and I refuse to actually LIVE because I'd rather wallow" bit was basically the only thing happening... The FMC seemed a bit immature...

Okay, so I'm now absolutely and completely team Bash/Eva. I adore these characters and their chemistry and I honestly don't even care that I'm pretty sure of at least one predictable thing that is likely to happen (It's not the destination, but the journey, after all). Loving it so much I want to preorder a pretty hardcover. Just don't disappoint me in the last half! 😆
