I’m on chapter three and I can already tell that you need some knowledge on Chinese history and mythos/folklore to truly understand and enjoy it. Luckily for me I know a little about it (shout-out to the podcast TransplanarRPG and it’s gm, Connie Chang, for teaching me some stuff, especially name pronunciations) so I’m not too confused about anything yet
