I’m not fully understand the background and personal thing about true character(s) yet but is most definitely a book I like so far. And I like the social connection that the book has when talking about “I joined ROTC to make my dad happy” (Reynolds 5). I can see the social bond that they have and that’s what I like about it so far even though I know so little about the character(s).

In the story, the author often puts the reader in the position to figure things out on their own when stating situations about Guzzeo and Paul and what they often did with each other due to the strong disagreements that they would have with each other through time, "I chewed and guezzo gave me that look again, 'Quinn's the one looking weird' " (Reynolds 169).
