dude has a puck in his throat. its a sports book, didn't you catch that? it's about hockey. so ofc it has to be a puck and not a normal sentence like maybe being tongue tied or something.

i have never read a book by this woman and i am one known to blindly choose books out of a one sentence synopsis.. but girl.. tessa.... girl... what are you doing.... please just read some fanfiction or something! it is worlds better than the whiplash of smut you get from this. all of a sudden hearing very smutty language when it was normal for the majority of the beginning is wild! you can't switch it up that fast!
