Good grief, this book is way too long. She writes in the authors notes that she cut out a lot of unnecessary scenes but I’m thinking she should have cut way more than she did.

Did we need two pages describing the clothes everyone is wearing to go to the mall? This book is cute but it needs a vigorous editing.

Wow, ok, some veiled judgement for single mothers there. Because she’s not married and has kids it’s ok to abduct her? What? I think this is supposed to be a joke but yikes, badly done.

That’s not how ice cream is made. There’s no flour and it needs to be churned in a frozen bowl then set for three to eight hours, but ok, I guess I’ll let this slide.
