not only did it swap perspectives mid chapter, it’s a HARD CUT to a whole different scene and setting. god the author improved soooo much in book 2. i literally recommend reading book 2 first lol

i mean just actually miserable start to a book. constant pov swap WITHIN one chapter and no headings to acknowledge it’s swapping. if i hadn’t read book 2 first, i may have dnf’d this already
