Not the stygian spiders being literal nightmares

This one is definitely more political then the other books. And esp after the cliffhanger that was the previous book, I can see why there are people who don't like it as much. But it does add a lot to the world & story

The chemistry between Sartaq and Nesryn was there so early on. I love the scenes with them and getting her away from Chaol because while I love my brooding boy, they were just not it together.

You can just feel Yrene's hatred of Adarlan when she's first introduced. Well, mainly the King and Dorian

UGH... guys this book is sooo important. Just like with Empire of Storms, I got so caught up in the tandem reading that I forgot to update, but the fact that this book gets so much hate really baffles me. The importance of what Chaol does and what Nesryn accomplishes is so valuable to the end game. Love it so much

While this book moves a littler slower than the others, I am really enjoying it. However, with how EoS ended, I really want to see how this connects!
