I just realized that there is no one protagonist or antagonist. There are seemingly a lot of protagonists but I would expect just one in this genre. The antagonist could be the hidden army, Salnians, and even the environment at this point. Hmmmm I wonder who will be the protagonist to carry the tale, if one is even there.

The Salrians would have been better introduced in a prologue and the remaining three stories written as they are. The chapter introducing them is necessary but since they do not contribute to the story in a larger effort it would have been easier to understand if their chapter was a prologue.

I had to take a break. Chapter Sever doesn't really fit and more people, places, and things are Introduced that make the chapter confusing.

This sounds intriguing, the series is free, and the books have some length. I have high hopes that this is another author to follow.
