Does anyone else have random books you read YEARS ago suddenly being 'shelved' and showing up in the feed? I've noticed a few lately and it's weird. Looks to be a Goodreads glitch (shocking, right?).

Actually, I just looked at my profile and several books I read ages ago were just 'shelved'. Dammit, Goodreads, get it together.

Yes!!! It's beyond frustrating. They are all showing as just added and read twice but no dates for the second reading. I had to go into each and delete the 2nd read. Also, while scrolling my feed, they are easily noticeable. The covers look like they won't load and each one like that shows as read twice. It's been going on for days now. Since Friday. That's when I first noticed.
I've noticed it sporatically for a few weeks. Today's 'updates' seemed to be the most prevelant, though. I noticed some of the same titles coming up in friends feed, too, so I'm guessing the glitch is pretty widespread.
That is super bizarre! I noticed the same titles too and they are super old reads. Obscure even. Such a random thing to do.
They're probably updating/upgrading databases and sometimes that changes dates as well. Or could be crowdstrike mess related too.
I thought crowdstrike too because that was the day I noticed people liking random reviews from 2015 but Jewel noticed it before that. Who knows. It just makes me feel like my shelves are messy. I guess there are worse problems!
Yep. Happened to me too. I'm wondering why all of a sudden there was such an interest in these old books? lol GR strikes again
