Huh. While the romancey parts are somewhat uncomfortable, they’re at least not too romancey.
I loved the spy edition and the unveiling of a previously unnoticed plot hole in canon.
And the author managed to surprise me multiple more times with sudden new turns in the plot (though quite some mistakes are hidden therein as well).
It’s an up and down…

Yikes. I can see why this would be off-putting to many. But if you… follow it, it’s getting somewhat interesting (hopefully not OP). Ugh at the foreshadowing of romance though.

This begins even worse: my favourite downloader throws an error {"ret": 5, "err": -7, "msg": "exports are unavailable for this fic, possibly due to author request", "upstream": true, "q": …} so I had to visit and save each chapter by hand in Firefox to be able to read it in lynx, for accessibility. Bleh! First time I’ve even seen THAT happen.
