I knew the one person was in on it from the beginning but I didn't make the exact connection to "the boss" so that was an interesting twist. Plus nice set up in the epilogue for the next book about baby Jane doe.

This one is taking me a little longer to read because life has been in the way. But this is my 4th book by J Miller and as the 3rd one in this series I'm impressed how different each of her heroines are. I hope she keeps this is throughout the series.

I should not try to update my status when I'm half asleep, put myself 100 pgs ahead of where I actually am.

This book is creeping me out. But u think it's due to the movie I watched last night. I'm still loving that heroine, she's not perfect; she's older, not model skinny, strong and independent.

Don't like him or Ms. Miller implying 36 is spinster age. That might drop a rating a star.

Pretty sure prisons don't allow inmates to make calls at midnight.

Good hook. And I like that we're back in no-man's-land. I'm loving that we've got an older (36 year old) heroine. Don't often see that in romance novels especially harlequin but Ms. Miller is so good at thinking outside the box for her characters.
