Like Skadi, I'm not a monster-smut fan, but if one half-troll deserved to be romanticized, the half-troll in question should be Glámr 😂

"Glámr was near unconscious from loss of blood, and as they gathered he sat heavily, lowering his head between his knees. “Are you all right?” Damian knelt beside him. “Your shoulder.”
“What was that?” Glámr’s voice was faint. “My shoulder? Oh yes. I cut myself shaving.”

A wound-sick, delirious Glámr is the most unexpected hilarious thing in this book 😂😂😂 I'm crying!
On the other hand, it's just so weird, that I really hope he's not going to die, like the laugh on my lips died when I thought of this. 😱😶‍🌫️😨

This book will be relaunched next Monday with a new cover! The author has had some unfortunate issues with Amazon and piracy that ruined it the first time.

This is why it's been put on hold on my shelf for the last 20% for so long. I'll finish it and post my review on that day.

Phil is a great indie author. Please, consider picking this book up on Monday 9th and give it a shot! :) His books are on K.U. as well!

The writing is great as usual with this author, but it's not an emotional Rollercoaster like Bastion is. This feels like it's taking its time setting the scene.

As for most first books in a well-built series, this one takes a bit of time setting up, that's why I'm not updating more. However I know this author will most likely pick up the pace in the second part. Can't wait.
As I've read Bastion first, I can't help seeing Skadi as a mix between Scorio and Naomi's personalities, it's kinda if she were an alternate-reality kid :D

Skadi surely shares an inordinate amount of stupid luck with Scorio, not sure if it's a theme on all the author's books :D
I'm curious to know her better :)
