Ok so it's supposed to be a retelling of Adam & Eve / Cain and Abel, and even though yk what happens I'm still on the edge of my mf seat. this one chick who's acc the devil incarnate spooks me, I've been so skiddish lately.
I've been annotating though bc the there are obvious themes, and it's acc so fun. Someone read this w me so we can discuss plss

Took a break for a little while because it got a little too intense but it’s a really raw book about people. I liked that it was thought provoking and created discomfort to simulate the evil we feel in ourselves sometimes. I feel like I lost momentum so the outcomes didn’t resonate as powerfully as I wanted them to… it definitely ended with subtlety.
