“This questioning of me, an adult who had never wavered in knowing what I wanted, was an insult. I don’t see physicians questioning young pregnant women on whether or not they are really ready to become mothers and refusing to treat them if they are deemed to be too immature. Someone needs to be a more supportive friend or those friends aren’t going to want to hang out with you once their kids are grown.

The author uses Cameron Diaz as an example of celebrities who are going public about being child-free, but I’m pretty sure she has at least one kid now.
