This last narrative was double the length of the others and I think it was so much better than the previous cause I felt like I was better able to understand the person

Reading the partner perspectives was very interesting because as an autistic person in a relationship with another autistic person, I don’t know if I could ever be in a relationship with an allistic person. I think it would be way more difficult for me to connect with them fully

There’s definitely been many a time where I’ve had to text my girlfriend instead of talking to her because I’m too overwhelmed

“In my experience, many gays are pretty ableist”
I personally find it to be pretty hit or miss. A lot are incredibly ableist and yet most of my queer friends are disabled themselves if not an ally (even if a little tacit in their allyship). If you’re from a specific area or only interact with certain types of gays, I can definitely see this being the case

While I understand the power of individual narratives and the necessity for the voice of my fellow autistic people to come through, I also hope there’s more of a synthesis with analytical analysis after this. That is much more substantive to me rather than these five pages. OR I wish they had more space to discuss their lives as pertains to this
