If we are being honest this sets the tone for his entire book. We already know that Priest will provide people with enough rope to hang themselves but also atone. He feels it is a mercy and apart of his order and vengeance he is serving God. I don't know why people feel that he took to long to handle business.

It's reread time and in light of all the real life political bullhockey going on this feels like a slice of apple pie comfort, a piece of fantasy on the levels of Django that I can completely get behind and crave and need. Oh and Jahmir is Black American fine.
