S.M. Pratt Hi Mike
Yes, C.C. Jameson has a goodreads account here: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
I'll try to reply to you via email as well.

Thanks for asking!

S.M. Pratt At the end of the day, it all comes down to chemistry for me. I can't say that I have a specific type that always wins. You're absolutely right in that character is more important than appearances but one still has to be attracted (physically) to a partner or else some things suffer like libido, etc.
S.M. Pratt I do record lots of audio notes in the middle of the night! How do you know? Are you the man who has been peering into my bedroom? ;) Just joking. I make lots of audio notes, but I don't have a voice recorder (that would just be an extra item to carry with me when I travel). I simply use the audio recording capability of my smart phone. I start up the "Notes" app, then tap the little microphone button. Sure, it's not perfect (my phone doesn't always transcribe the naughty terms correctly), but I can then fix my words the next morning when I wake up.

S.M. Pratt Hi Jacquie! I'm sorry to hear that Kobo wouldn't let you post a review. I tried to Google their terms to see if there was a need to 'buy' a book in order to review it (i.e., if reviewing it based on having received a free review copy would be possible), but I can't find anything about the topic. I have contacted their support team and asked them. I'll let you know when I hear back.
S.M. Pratt My answer to this isn't set in stone. It depends on the books I'm reading at the moment. Right now, I'd have to say Peaches and Dalton from Mimi Strong's Peaches Monroe series. I haven't finished the series yet, so I could very well change my mind soon!
S.M. Pratt Life is a bottomless pit of inspiration. I'm also extremely curious, in all aspects of life. Asking, 'What if...?' can create the spark I need to write a new book. Some ideas come to me when I stir in bed at night, unable to fall asleep. From there, I keep pushing my imagination, trying to figure out what could happen if this or that... Next thing I know, I've got a full-fledged mental outline. The tough (and crucial) part is then to capture it all before I forget and drift to sleep.
S.M. Pratt It's a staring contest. Sometimes I win, sometimes the screen wins. If it's the latter, I go and pour myself a glass of wine before I try again.
S.M. Pratt If you want to become a writer, sit down and build a daily writing habit. Don't try to write a perfect first draft. Just get the words out (even if they sound awful). The goal of the first draft is to get your story out of your head. Once your words are on the screen (or on paper), you'll have plenty of time to improve your story and then tighten your prose. Writing requires a lot of self-discipline. If you really want it, you'll make time for it, you'll write daily, and you'll get better at it. And don't stop reading.
S.M. Pratt I'm editing my draft for Part Six of The Stewardess's Diary, which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand. Once that's done, I'll finish the rest of the episodes in season one (7 to 10), then I'll tackle season two to see what's in store for the horny airline employees!
S.M. Pratt I get to tell lies or enhance the truth without being called a liar.
S.M. Pratt I have to say that I don't have a favourite erotic romance couple.

As a single woman, I have a tendency to be attracted to the next shiny big thing (or the next tall, dark, and handsome man), so my attention tends to go from the couple I just read about in a book to the next one I'll read about in the next.

With so much erotica being written in the first-person, it's hard to really associate with one single couple unless you think like the protagonist(s). Maybe I'm weird, but I don't think or fantasize like many of the female protagonists in what is considered to be popular erotica at the moment. Maybe it's why I don't have a solid answer to this question.

So, I don't mean to "cheat" but I would have to say that "my favourite erotic romance couple" is the one I'm writing about in The Stewardess's Diary. The woman is smart. She's independent and much prettier than she thinks she is. The man is a cocky pilot, a womanizer, and a great lover. He's neither a billionnaire nor a dominant. He's just a regular guy looking to score. She's just a regular 30-something woman trying to expand her sexual repertoire and get over her low self-esteem and the limitations society has imposed on her. I can associate with their less-than-perfect world, and so, with each episode I write, they gradually become my favourite erotic romance couple. Sure, he doesn't yet know who she is, but they're both building up to their initial meeting. She's building up her confidence. He's building up his relationship skills. I think they will become--strike that--they've already become the erotic romance couple I go to in my fantasies.
S.M. Pratt The idea for The Stewardess's Diary came to me while traveling. I was re-reading Helen Fielding's Bridget Jones's Diary at the time and I liked how it read, the humor, the characters... So I thought I would create something presented in the same format (a diary) and include similar tropes (a woman who struggles with her love life, a good-looking boss who sleeps around, humor) but I also wanted to add a bit of mystery and include quite a few very hot sex scenes... So that's how the idea for the book came, but then I decided to turn it into "an episodic novel" so I could publish each "episode" or "self-contained part" separately, to get readers to follow along while I'm writing the next episode. I plan to expand the series into a three full-length novel books (or thirty self-contained episodes).
