A native of Atlanta, Kevin began acting and singing at an early age with the prestigious “Atlanta Workshop Players.” After winning numerous awards (including the Young Georgia Author's Award) and a full dance scholarship, Kevin eventually transitioned to writing and directing, where he quickly discovered he possessed a knack for story-telling and bringing a vision to life.

He has written, produced, and directed dozens of original stage productions – both domestically and abroad – exploring multiple genres, one of which was ultimately released as a radio-play. That's because - sometimes when I write - I need to be able to get up and move around; even have conversations between characters out loud. Going for a walk ALWAYS seems to clear my head. I carry a voice recorder or notepad with me so that - when the ideas start flowing again - I can quickly put them down.(less)

One of my favorite moments as a writer is, when you're working on something, and you "stumble into" something that you didn't even know yourself - like a character's background, or how a particular situation might be resolved.
